KAB Silver Dealer award

For the second year running, Workplace Office Furniture Ltd, have been awarded the KAB Silver Dealer award for sales of KAB office chairs.

Pictured is the KAB Controller which has become an increasingly popular choice for 24/7 applications. Its primary use has been in surveillance and control rooms and is the 24/7 seat of choice for many of our police and ambulance control rooms but it is becoming increasingly popular in offshore oil and gas installations as well as in sea going vessels (KAB chairs can be supplied with glides instead of castors).

Ergonomics

On the subject of office ergonomics, one trend which has become pronounced in the last couple of years is the increased use of laptops by people who are constantly on the move.

Where the user then has to spend some time in the office it is important that the laptop is ergonomically sited on the desk to reduce the risk of RSI (repetitive strain injury)

One way to counteract this injury from happening is to set up a laptop stand on your desk, this acrylic stand ensures that the laptop or notebook is set at a proper ergonomic height helping to create a better working posture.
